Amtrak knew of electrical problem, argues attorney for DuPont crash survivor.

KIRO-FM Seattle, WA (6/7, 15K) reports that Jim Vucinovik, a lawyer of one of the survivors of the DuPont train crash, is arguing that that “Amtrak knew there was an electrical problem with a passenger train before it derailed...last December.” The survivor, 81-year-old Rudolf Wetzel, who reports that he suffered “severe permanent injuries to his head, face, and spine as a result of the train crash,” is suing Amtrak. The NTSB is investigating the train crash, which killed three people and injured 62 other passengers. KCPQ-TV Seattle (WA) Seattle (6/7, 64K) also reports.
