The Detroit Free Press (9/2, 219K) reported, "Two owners of classic cars at the Woodward Dream Cruise said their vehicles were damaged - and one said two of his children suffered minor injuries - after a helicopter from the Oakland County Sheriff's Office churned up a hail of dust and rocks when it hovered over their party of more than 100 people in Pontiac" on August 18. Police say the helicopter hovered because they believed a fight was underway at the party. The sheriff's office said it's conducting an investigation.
