Court allows New York man to sue gun manufacturer, distributor for shooting incident.

Reuters (10/9, Wiessner) reports that a man from Buffalo, NY, who was shot almost a decade ago may sue the manufacturer, the distributor and the dealer of the semi-automatic pistol that was used against him, according to a decision by a New York state appeals court on Friday. Reuters notes that the man's name is Daniel Williams and that he was shot in 2003 when he was in high school. His attorneys have argued that Ohio-based gun manufacturer Beemiller and distributor MKS Supply violated Federal law by knowingly supplying firearms to irresponsible dealers.
