LA Coliseum tagged in negligence suit over teen's death

The Los Angeles Times (1/3, Lin) reports the parents of an underage girl "who died of an ecstasy overdose" while at a rave, filed a five million dollar negligence claim against the managers of the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. The 15-year-old, who died in a coma, "was able to get into the event despite the 16-and-over age requirement." Sasha Rodriguez's parents claim "The Coliseum 'knew, or should have known, that the rave would attract, promote, encourage, facilitate and enable widespread illegal and illicit activity, including but not limited to the possession, sale and consumption of illicit drug.'"
