Wisconsin utility faces OSHA fines for worker's electrocution

The AP (2/3) reported the Occupational Safety and Health Administration cited Wisconsin-based North Central Power Co. Inc. with $200,000 for violations "after a worker was electrocuted trying to restore power after a summer storm." The Federal agency says the company "failed to make sure employees were protected by wearing insulated gloves and sleeves, de-energizing power lines, and installing protective grounds on lines and equipment." North Central Power had no comment.
